Zinnie

Zinnia (Zinnie) is an AKC registered purebred Chow Chow. She is just over 1 year old and loves visiting our patients and the patients of Community East Hospital in Indianapolis. She thoroughly enjoys people of all ages and greets them with tail wags and a smile and she maybe even shakes paws! She welcomes hugs and kisses, which not all dogs do. She also participates in dog sports: agility, barn hunt, rally obedience and trick performance. It is always a better day at the office with Zinnie!

Lou Ann – Dental Hygienist Team Leader

Hello! I’m Lou Ann. I am one of the three dental hygienists we have here at the office. I started working with Dr. Becker in 1987. My work schedule has varied greatly over the years as my family grew from just one to four children. Those four children are all now in college and beyond. I have worked years of full-time to years of part-time and am currently here at the office four days a week.

My career in dentistry began when I graduated from Indiana University-Purdue University at Ft. Wayne in 1984. When I moved to the Indy/Fishers area in 1987, I began working here with Dr. Becker. I have had the opportunity to acquire friendships with my patients over the years and treasure those relationships. We have a female dentist that I have the privilege to work with here and it makes a great working environment for me.

I believe you will find our office to be state of the art, and yet, at the same time, it will give you a very relaxed and caring feeling during each and every visit. We strive every day to give each patient a great dental experience. We look forward to the opportunity to work with you and to help you meet your dental needs as well as cosmetic desires!

Beth – Doctor’s Assistant Team Leader

Hi, my name is Beth. I started my career in dentistry in 1984. I joined Dr. Becker’s team in 1993. Over the many years, we have become family. My personal attachment to Dr. Becker and her practice is because of the genuine care and concern she has for her patients and staff.

Dr. Becker provides the most current technology and excellent relaxing atmosphere, not only for the patients, but for the staff as well. I consider it a privilege and a pleasure to work for a doctor that invests so much back into the dental practice with continuing education and up to date high tech dental equipment.

We have had many long-lasting relationships with patients over the years. I enjoy watching our families grow, meeting their friends and co-workers, and developing relationships with them as well. I look forward to making our new patients feel just as welcome.

Andrea – Expanded Duties Dental Assistant

Hello, I am Andrea. I have been in the dental industry for 18 years and the medical industry for over 26 years. I have been married for 20 wonderful years. We have three smart and awesome kids. My family and I live in Zionsville. In my spare time, I love flying to the best beaches. When I am not at the office, I am selling Real Estate.

Dawn – Dental Hygienist

Hello, I am Dawn. I started here in June 2006. I am from Elkhart, Indiana. I have an associate’s degree in hygiene from Indiana University South Bend and a bachelor’s degree in general science from Indiana University Indianapolis. I enjoy boating in the summer, pet sitting, dancing, traveling, watching Indianapolis Colts and Notre Dame football, as well as Chicago Cubs baseball, and attending the Indianapolis 500 each year.

Karen – Admin

Hi! My name is Karen. I graduated with a certificate in dental assisting in 1988 and a degree in dental hygiene in 1990. I started at My Dental Care in 2005. I worked part time as a dental hygienist till 2019. In 2019, I moved up front and became the insurance and financial coordinator. I am married with two sons. In my spare time, I can be found working in my yard, volunteering or golfing. My husband says I should add shopping to my spare time activities!
